White Peplum

I bought this peplum tank a few months ago from Old Navy and I've been obsessed with how light and flowy it is (as you can see it fly up in some pictures). I'm easing in to trying out the choker look and really digging it. I'll let you in on a secret though, this is simply just some black satin ribbon I cut and tied - I didn't want to buy a jazzy, pricey choker if I wasn't in love with the trend.

I was hesitant to wear my Billie jeans since their high waisted and my shirt wasn't cropped. If you can see the pockets beyond the end of your shirt, I think you're okay. You still look proportional and don't look like you're wearing jeggings that have no pockets. Make sense?

  1. OK you are a total genius to grab some ribbon and use it as a choker - I have to try that! I love this look...it's simple but totally summery :)
